Six Components of a High-Converting Webinar Landing Page

Externally, they can be used to generate sales and leads, to recruit members, and grow community subscribers, to name a few benefits. Internally, they are an effective training tool for individual employees, departments or the company as a whole.

Just as with an in-person event, webinars require sufficient planning and organization to be successful. But there’s good news when it comes to investing the time needed to create a high quality webinar, the content created for the webinar holds its value for a long time as it can be repurposed and used in a variety of ways.

Webinar content can be:

  • broken down and used as content for future blogs
  • transcribed into an eBook or Whitepaper
  • combined with other webinars to form a self-paced, online course
  • offered as an opt-in or download to gain website subscribers

While we see the value of webinars for the long term, to gain maximum exposure for the webinar and ultimately ensure a large number of registrations, we also need focus on best practices when designing the registration landing page. The landing page is a key marketing tool when launching the webinar. Take a look below for the six must-have components of a high-converting landing page.

Headline: The headline should capture the content and topic of the webinar in one clear, concise statement.

How to create a high-converting webinar landing page

Webinar Benefits: The landing page should outline at least three to five key benefits attendees can expect from attending. Focus on the most important benefits.

For example:

  • Webinar landing page design template
  • 50 headline templates
  • A 20-page guide to creating interactive content for a webinar
  • Ongoing access to the webinar recording for three months

Webinar Host: It’s important to prove to the audience that the presenter is an expert at the topic being discussed. Include a brief summary of the presenter’s background related to the topic. Add a professional image of the presenter and links to their professional profiles.

Easy Registration Form: The webinar registration form should require minimal information from participants.  The highest converting forms ask only for a name and email.

Call to Action: Create a call to action for the registration form that speaks to the audience. For best results, use first-person statements .
