Wired.org:
Nonprofits and NGOs Work the Web |
| Because being wired means more than a website and email! |
| |
| To achieve our missions in a world where funding is shrinking while needs
are expanding, we have to think creatively. By using the web strategically we
can connect with others inside and outside our organizations to get things done
and get our message across. |
| |
| Wired.org is a four-day international virtual conference
geared to nonprofit and non-governmental organizations, socially responsible companies
and educational institutions. Youre invited to join together with practitioners,
thought leaders and representatives from leading organizations, in an online learning
community to share ideas about using the web: |
| |
Learn how to use the web to engage staff from other sites,
volunteers and board members, or clients. |
| |
Get practical tips, models, tools, and training materials
so you can implement the ideas you learn. |
| |
Network with other professionals, volunteers and supporters
of nonprofit and non-governmental organizations. |
| |
| For four days, September 16-19, leading professionals will come
together for online presentations from experts in the field all focused
on how nonprofit and non-governmental organizations can work the web to achieve
their missions and objectives. |
