Services / Overview

Our software and consulting services are helping to reshape the world of organizational strategy and change consulting, quality improvement through accreditation, and online community-based learning and collaboration. Our specialty: initiatives that require a high degree of collaboration and that necessitate transformations for groups, organizations and communities.

Our approach typically integrates the four key capabilities of our software – relationship building, collaborative learning, collaborative knowledge sharing and project collaboration – with strategies and supporting group processes that drive your transformational goals. Some examples of our current strategic initiatives that demonstrate our deep commitment to meaningful client partnerships include:

Accreditation-Plus is a new capability to help associations and agencies that conduct accreditations and certifications go beyond evaluation-based processes by enabling truly collaborative quality improvement approaches - all in the context of the accreditation process. For example, iCohere's partnership with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is establishing a new approach for educational quality improvement across California, Hawaii and Asia Pacific. For WASC, Accreditation-Plus enables each school to engage stakeholders in collaborative learning and project-focused processes, while at the same time supporting a community of practice across school coordinators - an approach aimed at fostering cross-school best practices sharing and breakthroughs in educational improvement.

OvationNet is a collaboration between iCohere and David Cooperrider (Chair of the Department of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University and founder of Appreciative Inquiry) that focuses on providing consultants, change agents and organizations with leading edge tools for facilitating strategic organizational change. OvationNet makes available tools and resources that harness the power of online learning and web community and collaboration technology in ways that support individual, group, organizational and whole system change processes.

iCohere's work with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) & The Center for Association Leadership focuses on establishing best practices for associations and membership-based organizations in the areas of learning communities, communities of practice and workgroup collaboration. Through recognizing iCohere as its preferred collaborative platform, ASAE and iCohere are creating a range of applications that demonstrate new possibilities and innovations for distributed online learning, collaborative-knowledge sharing, pre- and post- conference and convention networking, and project collaboration. These solutions go far beyond simply providing technology - they include developing approaches for engaging diverse groups of stakeholders in a range of collaborative processes.
