Hosted by ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership, the Global Summit on Social Responsibility united more than 800 association professionals and stakeholders in Washington, DC and 19 connected locations around the world and online to co-create a social responsibility agenda for the future of the association profession.
The Project Action Teams that emerged from this pioneering event have refined their goals, outlined necessary action steps, and broadened their recruitment of colleagues and other organizations ready to move beyond conversation to actual identification of the business opportunities and substantive impact of positive change-making for a just and healthy world.
Join ASAE & The Center, Appreciative Inquiry creator and Professor David Cooperrider, Ph.D.; and the iCohere/OvationNet Team as they facilitate an always-available, online-only summit, Associations and Social Responsibility: Carrying the Movement Forward, that marks the next leg in our sector's journey toward greater sustainability.
Participation in this virtual summit is FREE and is accessible 24 hours a day from anywhere with a standard browser and an Internet connection.

Learn how you and your association or nonprofit can use the tools and resources emerging from this initiative to release the energy and passion of your membership, your community and the world for socially responsible action.
This global event offers opportunities for learning, collaboration, innovation, and momentum-building in relation both to your own organization's path toward social responsibility as a business driver and to those maps of work being created and prioritized by the Project Action Teams.
Live and recorded presentations run October 14 through October 16.
Goals of the summit:
- Provide the full association and nonprofit community, as well as business partners, with a window into the work of the Project Action Teams, create excitement around what is being done, and recruit more members and resources.
- Identify opportunities for the project teams to find synergies in their work and better collaborate.
- Clarify the role that ASAE & The Center will play in providing on-going support for some/all of these projects.
- Identify alternate mechanisms by which any of these projects might find additional support.
- Sustain and expand the energy generated at the Global Summit, taking next steps to inspire and support efforts by organizations to foster social responsibility internally and among their members and members' organizations.
Access to recorded messages, presentations, and discussions will continue for six weeks after the close of the summit.
