Soren Kaplan, Ph.D.
As a co-founder of iCohere, I established the original model and approach for creating collaborative learning communities and communities of practice. I continue to lead client engagements focused on business innovation and large scale organizational change - often in partnership with my strategic consulting firm, InnovationPoint (www.innovation-point.com).
Prior to founding iCohere, I held numerous positions at Hewlett-Packard, including Manager of Business Strategy Consulting, an internal consulting group focused on strategic planning, product innovation and organizational development.
I have presented and lectured at numerous conferences and institutions, including the American Society of Training & Development, Innovation Convergence, the National Organizational Development Network, and the Harvard Business School. Quotes and articles by me have appeared in publications including Fast Company, Strategy & Leadership, the Journal of Creativity and Innovation Management, and the Journal of Strategic Change among others. I have MA and Ph.D. degrees in Organizational Psychology. |

Pascal Kaplan, Ph.D.
My background is fairly eclectic, blending education, business and technology.
As a co-founder and CEO of iCohere, Inc., I help organizations develop their eLearning and online community-building capabilities and expertise. Among our 200+ clients are ASAE & The Center, the Society of Cable Television Engineers, the National Institutes of Health, UC Berkeley and AT&T.
Prior to becoming involved with technology, I served for six years as Dean of the School of Liberal Arts at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California. In that role, I launched the University's Graduate School of Holistic Studies, which became the first accredited program in the U.S. to offer degree programs in Consciousness Studies, Holistic Health Education and Transpersonal Psychology.
Following my tenure at JFKU, I spent two years consulting with Bank of America's Executive Committee to develop and implement a mission and values initiative for the organization's 90,000 employees.
Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations and continue to teach courses in Transformational Studies at JFKU on a part-time basis. I earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Theology from Harvard University. |
